I have been writing and publishing features articles for over 20 years, on topics such as small business, health and fitness, book reviews, real estate, human interest, and education. My expertise is in interviewing people and creating highly readable articles with an up close and personal feeling. A recent career highlight was a feature I wrote for Steps,the alumni magazine for Cal State San Marcos, in which I profiled high school students who had turned their lives around and were on the fast track to college. The article involved interviewing the students in person, handling sensitive topics with care, and creating a dramatic piece which would move the audience.
